The Duppster (that's hubby Karl Duppstadt) and I are a great match:
He likes red meat; I like fish and poultry.
He gets up early; I like to sleep late.
He likes to eat breakfast right after he gets up; I like to lallygag around for a while first.
He drinks coffee; I’ve never tasted coffee.
He likes ham salad; I like egg salad.
He drives within the speed limit; I’m sometimes not quite that careful, but I’m getting better.
He likes watching NFL; I prefer college sports.
He enjoys listening to books; I prefer holding the book in my hand to read it.
He rarely drinks alcohol; I love my white wine.
He’s a native of Pennsylvania and has lived all over the world, thanks to 20+ years in the Air Force; I’ve never lived anywhere other than South Carolina.
He prefers nonfiction; I prefer fiction.
He worked in IT; I know almost nothing about IT.
He’s extremely patient; I’m trying.
He’s quiet; I’m not.
He puts ketchup/catsup on scrambled eggs; I would never ruin them that way.
He’s tall; I’m short.
He prefers potatoes; I prefer rice.
He likes his food mild; I like mine spicy.
He drinks diet drinks; I don’t.
He likes cake with a bunch of icing; I like plain pound cake, no icing.
He prefers milk chocolate; I prefer dark chocolate.
But, we’re a great match because we both like the toilet paper going over on the holder.
Happy Anniversary, Dupp! I love you. It's been a great 16 years.
